Elžbieta Latėnaitė is a professional, experienced and versatile theatre and film creator. She was noticed by critics and audiences as soon as she made her debut at the age of 19 with the role of Irina in Rimas Tuminas' theater performance "Three Sisters", for which she won the Best Young Creator Award at the International Theatre Festival "Kontakt" and was nominated for best debut in National theater awards.

She was later awarded the "Silver Crane" as the best actress of the year and was repeatedly nominated for both the "Silver Crane" and the "Golden Stage Cross".

A personal position is always important in Elžbieta's work – she seeks to highlight topics that are sensitive to society: the rights of the LGBTQ+ community, women's rights, children's rights, and other issues of cultural and social life.
